Suru was born at a Lovable vibe coding event in London in April 2026. Together with George Harsini, whom I had just met a few minutes into the event, we built the bones of something special.

Suru is a seamless set of workflows that turns anyone with a phone and a passion for a neighbourhood, an industry, anything really into a productive citizen journalist and publisher.

In a world awash in epic volumes of noise and nonsense, Suru helps to produce high quality content, and incredibly fast.

Designed for solo journalists, community reporters, and local media entrepreneurs who take their communities seriously, Suru combines a mobile-first capture tool, an AI drafting assistant, and a journalism standards framework so anyone can go from a moment or conversation to a published story in less than 10 minutes.
