Publishing & domains

Where your stories live and how readers reach them.

Do I get my own address?

Yes. Every publication gets a free subdomain — thesandovalsentinel.suru.cc, for example — set up automatically and yours to rename. Your stories stay reachable at suru.cc/p/your-publication too.

Can I use a domain I already own?

Yes, at no extra cost on Publisher Max. 1. Settings → Publication → Custom domain. 2. Add the records shown at your domain provider. 3. Wait for the status to turn verified — usually minutes. Suru issues the HTTPS certificate for you, and your suru.cc address keeps working.

How do I publish a story?

Publish unlocks once you've run the journalism check with no unresolved blockers and ticked the editorial attestation. Suru never publishes anything on your behalf.

Can I upload my own logo?

Publisher Max publications can upload a logo in Settings → Publication. It appears on your masthead across your subdomain and custom domain.
